WHAT IS THE TIER PAYMENT PROGRAM?

 

At Gesstwood Camp we realize that families have different abilities to pay; so we now offer a voluntary two tier payment program. You many choose the tier that is most suitable for your family. The Tier System allows us to continue to offer our same low summer camp fees, while letting everyone know the true cost of camp. We want to continue to provide the highest quality summer camp experience, while serving all community income levels and continuing to upgrade and preserve the camp for years to come.

 

• Tier I- is our partially subsidized fee for those who can pay a little more but still cannot afford the actual cost of camp.

• Tier II- more closely accounts for the true costs of camp including wear and tear of buildings and grounds.

 

This program is voluntary and in no way influences, the experience children receive, yet it offers the opportunity for families to take an active role in supporting the true cost of their child’s camp experience. Our goal is to provide each camper with a positive and lasting camp experience.

 

If you cannot afford the cost of Tier I, please fill out a bursary application found on our website. Bursary applications are due by June 30, 2019.
